I first heard Welsh singer-songwriter Cate Le Bon as the sultry voice in the song “I Lust You,” which appeared on the “Stainless Style” album from Neon Neon (the neo-disco Boom Bip/Gruff Rhys project). The stuff on her solo album “Me Oh My,” released today in the U.S. via the Control Group, is much more quirky – Nico with more phobias, and a stranger arsenal of instrumentation. Le Bon winds up a West Coast mini-tour this weekend.
