[Weekend items that have everybody talking:]
‣ Ronnie James Dio, the heavy metal singer who replaced Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath and also fronted the bands Rainbow, Heaven & Hell and Dio, has died in Houston after a battle with stomach cancer. He was 67. The Associated Press obituary.
‣ Greyson Chance, the sixth-grader whose cover of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” has made him a YouTube sensation, has reportedly signed a deal with Interscope. Yes, it’d be nice to learn that Chance’s quick ascent to stardom (he’s already appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ show) isn’t some orchestrated campaign to foist another Justin Bieber on the public, but who knows?
After the jump (if you’re one of the few who hasn’t seenit yet), Chance’s video (that soon will exceed 16 million views):

can’t believe dio is gone 🙁
I’d like to offer my condolences to Ronnie James…but I’m afraid his lawyers might sue me for lack of sincerity.
