Isis, the Ringers are calling it quits

“Simply put, ISIS has done everything we wanted to do, said everything we wanted to say,” the band said in a statement. “In the interest of preserving the love we have of this band, for each other, for the music made and for all the people who have continually supported us, it is time to bring it to a close. We’ve seen too many bands push past the point of a dignified death and we all promised one another early on in the life of the band that we would do our best to ensure ISIS would never fall victim to that syndrome.”

Also: Hollywood rockers the Ringers, who established themselves as one of the most wildly entertaining acts on the L.A. scene, are also pulling the plug. “To all that have stuck by us over the years, we are sorry to inform you that The Ringers have broken up,” a statement on the band’s Facebook page said. “We’ve had some amazing times, made some great friends and once in a lifetime memories, and a body of music and videos to be proud of.”
A sort-of going away present for fans: Download two new Ringers songs here (including one ironically titled “Don’t Stop”).
