‣ The FYF Fest goes off downtown at Los Angeles State Historic Park, featuring this week’s Weezer, Wavves [that’s  video for “Post-Acid,” above], along with the likes of the Rapture, Panda Bear, School of Seven Bells, Best Coast, the Soft Pack, AA Bondy and about 30 others. More on FYF later today on this very blog. [Also, see my preview on LA Weekly’s West Coast Sound.]
‣ The very fun French-German duo Stereo Total hits the Echoplex tonight, with Hawnay Troof and Kisses.
‣ And if FYF isn’t your style, there’s the Inara George-curated fundraiser for Theatricum Botanicum in Topanga on Saturday (3 p.m.). It features the Living Sisters, Becky Stark, Harper Simon, Dan Bern, Sara Melson, Charlie Wadhams and others.
