[We’re a little misty at Buzz Bands HQ this morning, this being the 20th anniversary of the release of “Nowhere” by Ride, which the Internet tells me will be re-released on vinyl Nov. 30. My favorites are here and here.]

‣ The National returns to southern California on Saturday for a concert at Pomona’s Fox Theater. Owen Pallett opens.
‣ Sigur Rose frontman Jonsi (pictured), touring behind his solo album “Go,” brings his stage spectacle to the Wiltern on Sunday. The show will be webcast live at 9 p.m. on NPR.
