Weezer’s album shows seem to shout ‘Nerds win!’

Weezer fans got a couple of shows for the ages over the weekend. At the Gibson Amphitheatre, the quartet triumphantly revisited “The Blue Album” on Friday and “Pinkerton” on Saturday, with each night featuring an opening 10-song set of favorites. I didn’t get one of he high-fives Rivers Cuomo dished out on his frantic forays into the crowd, but I did write this account for SPIN.com. The “Memories” tour continues tonight and Tuesday in San Francisco.
