Talk about teasing the Internerds: Sweet-sounding Neko Case – of New Pornographers and, well, Neko Case fame – guests on half the songs on the forthcoming album from the Dodos. Which, naturally, intrigues legions of Neko Case worshipers, and at least piques the interest of fans the beat-happy Bay Area duo won on their first three albums. So when Case “leaks” (via Twitter) a song off “No Color” (due March 15 on Frenchkiss), it’s one that does not feature her vocals. Aw. What “Don’t Stop” is – thanks to Meric Long and Logan Kroeber – is a finger-picking, drumstick-rattling pop palpitation. All fine and good, but about that collaboration …
