Tonight in L.A.: Cass McCombs, Justin Townes Earle, Sebadoh, Har Mar Superstar/Samatha Ronson

Of great shows big and small:

‣ With a new album “Wit’s End” on the way in April, singer-songwriter Cass McCombs plays the Center for the Arts in Eagle Rock, joined by Big Search and Frank Fairfield.
Har Mar Superstar and Marijuana Deathsquads wind up their residency at the Satellite – and it’s been quite a party – but the curiosity tonight is opener Samantha Ronson, performing with a live band.
Sebadoh’s “Bakesale/Harmacy Remembering Time Tour” moves across town to the Echoplex. Lou Barlow and crew played the Troubadour on Thursday; expanded reissues of Sebadoh’s 1994 and 1996 albums are on the way.
Goldenboy celebrates the release of his third album, “Sleepwalker,” on a Hotel Cafe bill that includes the 88 and Keaton Simons.
‣ At the Echo, it’s Brooklyn’s How To Dress Well, the nom de tune of producer Tom Krell, whose album of arty electro “Love Remains” got a medal of honor (or something) from Pitchfork. The soundscapes are pretty compelling, and so is director Ezra Ewen’s short film for “Date of Birth,” above. Shlohmo and Death Kit support.
Justin Townes Earle, behind his latest album “Harlem River Blues,” plays a show at the Autry Museum.
Pepper Rabbit is joined by Hands and Chain Gang of 1974 at the Bootleg Theater.
‣ And Max Bemis of Say Anything plays to a sold-out Troubadour, with Joel Jerome of Dios opening.
