[Happy birthday Pete Doherty, wherever you are …]

Top show picks for a scrumptious Saturday:

‣ Denver quartet DeVotchKa headlines the Music box behind its new album “100 Lovers,” and supporting will be two very good L.A. acts, Mariachi El Bronx and Hands.
‣ French pop trio Revolver [see “Parallel Lives” and “Get Around Town”] play the Satellite, with Oh Darling opening.
‣ At the sold-out Troubadour, it’s Tapes N’ Tapes, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. and Fergus & Geronimo.
‣ Australian electro act Miami Horror heads up a big lineup at the Echoplex that includes Chapel Club, SuperhumanoidsGeographer and Polock. The latter band, from Barcelona, is drawing comparisons to Phoenix – that’s their video for “Fireworks,” above.
‣ And Portland orchestral pop band Typhoon does an in-store at Orgiami (6 p.m.) before making its way down Sunset Boulevard for a show at Lot 1 Cafe.
