The eight-track EP includes two new original songs (“Better In Blue” and “Little Riot”) and six remixes of songs off of the band’s 2010 album, “Big Echo.” Star Slinger, Wild Nothing, RAC, Twin Sister, Aislyn contribute their re-workings of these particular songs to join the Morning Benders in raising funds for the charity.
||| Also: Big-name hitmakers such as Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Elton John, Foo Fighters and Nora Jones have contributed tracks to the compilation “Songs for Japan,” available via iTunes for 10 bucks. It’s a pretty staggering tracklist – 38 songs in all. Hard to go wrong there, and for a good cause.
