Midweek fare that’s better than fair:

‣ Australia-bred Andy Clockwise’s long-awaited album “The Socialite,” a genre-hopping collection of biting, wry and occasionally hilarious rockers, came out this week. [You can stream the album here.] His trio headlines the Troubadour tonight, with Robotanists and George Stanford supporting.
The Airborne Toxic Event plays the third of its five shows this week, tonight at the El Rey Theatre with White Arrows and  Ovideo.
‣ Portland’s the Builders and the Butchers visit the Satellite behind the February release of their third album “Dead Reckoning.” That’s the Justin Koleszar-directed video for the Builders’ “Lullaby,” above.
‣ And west of the 405, it’s Chasing Kings and Ballerina Black at the Central SAPC in Santa Monica.
