‣ TV On the Radio (with IO Echo opening) hits the Music Box behind new album “Nine Types of Light,” a record he band says it imagined visually as well as musically. That’s the accompanying hourlong movie, above. Well worth your time.
‣ Anna Waronker headlines withe Satellite, supported by the new project from Imperial Teen’s Will Schwartz, Psychic Friend. [corrected].
‣ And Kevin Devine plays the Hotel Cafe, performing his new album “Between the Concrete and the Clouds” in its entirety, joined by guests Holly Miranda and Morgan Kibby (White Sea).
‣ Additionally, Prince has announced two shows tonight at the Troubadour. Hasn’t worn out his welcome in this town, not at all.
