Tonight in L.A.: Prince, My Chemical Romance, Dustin O’Halloran, Big Black Delta, Gangi

‣ Prince is back for another weekend of shows at the Forum.
‣ Pianist Dustin O’Halloran, first spotted teaming up with Sara Lov in the dreampop duo Devics years back, plays the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery behind his new album “Lumiere.” He will be accompanied by a string ensemble, as well as visuals inspired by artist Christina Vantzou.
Big Black Delta (creating quite a stir the past couple months thanks to songs like this), plays the Satellite, supported by Sing the Body Electric.
‣ We haven’t heard enough from Gangi recently (has it been this long since “A”?), but there is new music on the horizon, and a new lineup playing the Echo tonight.

Note: Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience has postponed tonight’s show at the Greek Theatre because vocalist James Dylan is ill. It has been rescheduled for Oct. 14.
