‣Since He’s My Brother, She’s My Sister just played with Alexander in New York this weekend, Vaud and the Villains [pictured above] will take over the last night of their residency at the Satellite. The 18-piece ensemble, who could have been plucked right out of a 1920s speakeasy, closes the night out. The Silverlake Chorus and Paulie Pesh open.
‣ If you missed High Highs last night [see their video for “Open Season”], you have one more chance to catch them this holiday weekend. They play a live set along with Sarabeth Tucek at Bardot tonight. DJ sets by Emma Richardson of Band of Skulls and Steve Livigni. [Free with RSVP.]

‣ The Bixby Knolls wraps their residency up with a solid rock lineup including Cannoneers of the New Command, Wake Up Lucid and The Icarus Line [see “Bad Bloods”] over at the Echo.
‣ Taylor Locke and the Roughs wind down their residency at Silverlake Lounge. The Remainers support.
‣ Maniac headlines the Bootleg Theater. Hello Vegas and Y Luv start the night out.
