the last time i saw andrew perform was back in the mid 90’s when he was part of a local group Bryndle with wendy waldman, karla bonoff and kenny edwards. really liked their album and the couple of shows i caught. now both andrew and kenny are gone as is Bryndle.
I just heard about this today. I didn’t even know who it was until a friend of mine sent me a YT clip of his song that was used as the Golden Girls theme song. He sent it to me because he though Andrew’s voice sounded like mine. Always sad when a famous musician passes away, but it’s always a reminder of the staying power of good songwriting.
