‣ Make Music Pasadena: brings a truckload of great bands to venues throughout and around downtown Pasadena. Among them: The Morning Benders, Ra Ra Riot, Saint Motel, Kisses, Best Coast, Hello Seahorse!, Seasons, Jenny O, the Lonely Wild, Rocky Dawuni, Zola Jesus, Tijuana Panthers, Carla Morrison and NewVillager.
‣ Dutch producer/DJ Sander Kleinenberg rocks the Avalon behind his new album “5K.” That’s the video for “T.I.O.N. (This Is Our Night),” above.
‣ Saturdays off the 405 resume at the Getty Center, with Cambodian psych-pop ensemble Dengue Fever leading the party.
‣ Dawes, joined by Brett Dennen, visits the Orpheum behind their new album “Nothing Is Wrong.”
‣ And U2 tees it up again at Anaheim Stadium.
