[Make mine a double, please: Jack White and Isaac Brock were born in this day in 19 hundred and seventy-five:]

Part 1 of your weekend:

‣ This evening’s installment of Saturdays Off the 405 at the Getty features a headlining set by Best Coast, joined by DJ Kave-In. The free concert begins at 6 p.m.
Steely Dan’s second night at the Greek Theatre is highlighted by a setlist determined by fan vote.
‣ Pedro the Lion man man David Bazan’s new album “Strange Negotiations” sees the veteran songwriter delving deeper (if that’s possible) into issues of self and faith. The SoCal swing on his current tour with Rocky Votolato brings him to Alex’s Bar in Long Beach tonight (and the Troubadour on Sunday).
‣ And there’s a tantalizing local bill at the Satellite, with Wet & Reckless, Manhattan Murder Mystery and Seasons.
