Your solid Saturday touts:

‣ Power pop fanatics need not stay home tonight, because the Posies [pictured above] play 1993’s “Frosting On The Beater” tonight at the Viper Room.
‣ She never really just worked 9 to 5. Country’s legendary lady Dolly Parton plays a second night at Hollywood Bowl.
‣ Chillwavers Memory Tapes headlines the Troubadour with local psychedelic, R&B-infused, pop group Electric Guest playing as support.
‣ If you couldn’t get into last night’s sold-out Ty Segall show, San Francisco’s garage-rock prodigy is the secret guest at White Fence‘s show at the Smell tonight.
Correatown plays the Bootleg Theater tonight as part of Plays Well With Others’ benefit for the 24 Foundation. Steffaloo [see “The Red Runs Free”] and Saint Sea Hat are also on the bill. There will even be spoken word by Nick Macedo.
‣ L.A.’s downtown arts district kicks off their annual Bloomfest at 2 p.m. today. Early artists include Hello Vegas and Love Grenades and later featured acts include Eastern Conference Champions, Voxhaul Broadcast and Grouplove [who just brought the house down at the Hammer Museum on Thursday].
Superhumanoids and Hands play the popular Ace Hotel over in Palm Springs.
