The Naked and Famous’ album title “Passive Me, Aggressive You” certainly applied Tuesday night the at the Music Box. The New Zealand popsters surveyed their candy-coated electro to a sold-out crowd of aggressively adoring fans who’ve found a place for the Kiwis’ confections alongside their MGMT and Passion Pit records. L.A.’s White Sea, the solo project of M83’s Morgan Kibby, opened with a set of kaleidoscopic dream-pop. It made for an adventurous night for White Sea guitarist Ray Suen, who also is a member of Mariachi El Bronx. Suen did MEB’s 6 p.m. set at Amoeba, then White Sea’s 9 p.m. gig at the Music Box, and then Mariachi El Bronx’s 11 p.m. album-release show at downtown’s La Cita.
