Funeral Party’s “New York City Moves to the Sound of LA” roared back in the days of the dance-punks’ “Bootleg” EP, and three years later on the East L.A. band’s major-label debut “Golden Age of Knowhere,” it’s no less of a scorcher. In spirit, anyway, it reminds me of the 1977 song by the Randoms, “Let’s Get Rid of New York.” More cowbell, please.
