Two U.K. greats from the ’90s – Mark Gardener of Ride (pictured) and Adam Franklin of Swervedriver – highlight the lineup for the fifth Clean Air Clear Stars Festival at Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace on Sept. 23 and 24. Franklin will be performing with his band Adam Franklin & Bolts of Melody at the annual psych-rock-leaning affair, a benefit for the Arbor Day Foundation that also will boast appearances from the Icarus Line, the Morning After Girls, the Warlocks, Miranda Lee Richards, the Gram Rabbit side project the Country, Lemon Sun, Magic Mirror, Steve McBean of Black Mountain, RT n’ the 44’s, Tears of the Moose Chaser, Highway, the Black Ryder, Golden Ghosts, Miracle Falls and Rachel Fannan, among others. Two special guests are yet to be announced.
