Buzz Bands LA show, today at 3 on Moheak Radio (with Brian and Claire of Shadow Shadow Shade)

Because we’re optimistic, we’re going to assume that the embattled Sunset Junction Street Fair is actually going to happen. And on today’s Buzz Bands LA show on Moheak Radio, we’ll preview the festival – and chat with Brian Canning and Claire McKeown of Shadow Shadow Shade (playing 5:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 on the Edgecliffe Stage), each of whom are bringing music contributions for something of a “song-off.” Trash will be talked. I’ll play a couple of tracks from my Sunset Strip Music Festival mixtape too, so you get an idea of what’s going on on the other end of the boulevard this weekend.
