Death Cab For Cutie is back for a second night at the Greek Theatre, with Frightened Rabbit opening.
‣ Silver Lake indie quartet Le Switch plays its farewell show at the Satellite, with the World Record, the Mallard and the Mid Cities as support.
‣ Minneapolis rockers Motion City Soundtrack kick off a seven-city “album show” tour, playing two nights in each locale and performing two of their albums front to back on each night. Tonight at the House of Blues, it’s 2003’s “I Am The Movie” and 2005’s “Commit This To Memory.”
Lemon Sun and Caught a Ghost team up downtown for an event called “The Cosmic Prom” at the Vortex Immersion Dome, 1037 W. 6th St. downtown. The event, billed as a 360-degree experience, will feature installation art, DJs, food trucks and planetarium-style projections. Background on the dome here.
