FYF Fest set times announced for Sept. 3

From Fool’s Gold and Twin Sister in lunch hour to Explosions in the Sky, Death From Above 1979 and the Dead Milkmen in the witching hour, here are the set times for this year’s FYF Fest on Saturday, Sept. 3, at Los Angeles State Historic Park in downtown. There are four stages of music, plus a comedy tent. Tickets are $40.
For my tastes, it looks like an easily manageable festival, since I will use the day to skip the hipster flavors of the month. Any huge conflicts for you?
Explosions in the Sky / Dead Milkmen is the *only* conflict, and that’s an easy Split-the-Baby.

The Weakerthans, Cold War Kids and No Age, 3 bands I wanted to see, all around the same time. Fucking Ridiculous!! SHIT!
I am very excited for the FYF, as Explosions in the Sky is one of my favorites. Also great additions to the line-up are Broken Social Scene and Cold War Kids. Interested in the Chromatics as well, as some of their music is featured/used in the upcoming film Drive, which is already generating a lot of buzz.
