‣ Mellowing out on this holiday weekend? The Sweet Hurt and Ry Cuming join residents Daniel Ahearn and the Jones for tonight’s edition of the Sunday Night Jones at the Satellite. The Buzz Bands LA-presented night features a songwriters circle after the performances. Good vibe.
‣ Partying hard this holiday weekend: IDentity Festival goes off at the Palladium, feturing, among others, the Crystal Method, Booka Shade, Hercules and Love Affair, Pretty Lights, Steve Aoki, Pete Tong, Etienne De Crecy, Doorly, Jason Bentley, Nervo, Le Castle Vania, White Shadow, Marshall Barnes, Chad Hugo,  Data Romance, the Eye, Jessie and the Toy Boys and LA Riots. ‣ Mike Peters of the Alarm plays the El Rey Theatre, with Ari Shine opening.
