Hot stuff for a cool weekend:

The Kills – last spotted raising blood pressures at the Music Box in May – swing back through L.A. for a show at the Wiltern, with Eleanor Friedberger and Mini Mansions opening.
Superhumanoids head up a great local lineup at the Bootleg Theater, where Pollyn and Hot As Sun support.
‣ And more great local rock at the Mint, where the Icarus Line, the Warlocks, Spirit Vine and the Shining Twins play.
‣ Origami Vinyl is hosting a “Dodgers Takeover Party” (complete with Dodger Dogs, peanuts and high-fives) at the Echo – it’s a matinee show (3:30 p.m.), with Gestapo Khazi, Summer Darling, Future Ghost and the Black Apples.
‣ Sixties cult hero Peter Daltrey (of the bands Kaleidoscope and Fairfield Parlour) visits the Satellite along with Philadelphia psych-rockers Asteroid #4.
