Peter Hook got by with a little help from his friends last week when he brought his band Peter Hook & the Light through Los Angeles to perform two seminal albums by his first band, Joy Division. On Sept. 14 the Music Box, Hook and his band ripped through 1980’s “Closer,” with Perry Farrell and Moby lending guest vocals. L.A. experimental duo El Ten Eleven opened.

It’s no wonder the rest of New Order won’t speak to him.
I had a great time at the show in NYC. The set list was amazing and they sounded great live, my favorites were Isolation, Heart & soul and Decades, and Atmosphere. After the show I was Lucky enough to go backstage and meet Peter Hook and took some pictures and got some autographs.

Sorry that I could not take any pictures during the show, because my camera sucks in the dark.
