Your Sunday selections:
‣ San Diego-based Steve Poltz, the wildly entertaining singer-songwriter-satirist who rose from coffeehouse phenom to collaborate with Jewel and become known for sing-alongs, headlines this month’s edition of the Sunday Night Jones at the Satellite. The evening also features Billy Harvey, the hosts Daniel Ahearn & the Jones and a post-headliner songwriter circle in the Satellite’s back room.
‣ Guitar whiz Marnie Stern (pictured) visits the Bootleg Theater, supported by Dunes, Wet & Reckless and Cinderella Motel.
‣ The Chapin Sisters bring their heavenly harmonies to McCabe’s. [See our post on “Sweet Light.”]
‣ And John “JB” Bigham, as the Soul of John Black, brings his take on classic soul to the Mint.
