British electro-pop band Metronomy offers this Alexander Orlando Smith-directed clip for “Everything Goes My Way” featuring vocalist Roxanne Clifford, a track that is easily one of the best songs off their Mercury Prize-nominated third studio album, “The English Riviera.” The video, with its wildlife, greenery and feel of the great outdoors, complements the tune’s innate light tempos and playful guitar melodies. In comparison to their remix work for artists such as Gorillaz, Klaxons, Goldfrapp and more, intricately delicate instrumentation on this record truly sets them apart from general “electro” artists. Metronomy may have lost Gabriel Stebbing after 2008’s “Nights Out,” but have gained Lightspeed Champion drummer Anna Prior and Gbenga Adelekan on bass for a new rich flow on this album entirely conceptualized around the area founding member Joseph Mount grew up.
