Welcome to the Thursday Roundup. I call it that for no other reason than just because I can.

‣Ahhh, Foo Fighters at the Forum with Cage the Elephant and Mariachi El Bronx. Really don’t need to say much about this, do I? Do I? Just look at them…
‣Mercury Prize winners in 2010 for album of the year (for “Two Dancers”), the U.K.’s Wild Beasts play the Echoplex (check their video for “Bed of Nails”). Supporting the eve is EMA.
Family of the Year release their collective harmony along with their “St Croix” EP tonight at Bootleg Bar (EP release show) along with the American/Aussie combo Maniac, and Black Flamingo.
‣Anatomy of indie pop/folk, aka Seattle’s the Head and the Heart, will be at The Music Box with Thao with the Get Down Stay Down and Lemolo supporting.
‣If you don’t mind a late show, the Entrance Band play a midnight set at Harvard & Stone with Deep Vally and The Golden Ghosts earlier in the eve and you can’t beat the price: free.
