Mondays in L.A. are worth so much more than the price of admission. Funny how so much that I want to see tonight is residency FREE.

‣I recommend that you do some additional stretching because night #3 of Youngblood Hawke’s Satellite residency gets even more hyper as it includes my Vegas-to-L.A. transplant loves, Imagine Dragons. FREE at The Satellite along with Rainbow Jackson.
‣The Naked and Famous ply their New Zealand trade at the Music Box with the Chain Gang of 1974 and White Arrows in support.
‣Mind The Gap, a culturally eclectic bunch of guys making a strikingly cohesive sound, continue their residency at the Bootleg along with Sister Ruby Band and Helena. Yep, you got it: FREE.
‣Rock/punk mayhem in stretch pants aka Indians have their way with the Silverlake Lounge. Check out Irontom (formerly the Bellows), Lookout Kids, and Bowery Beasts as well. FREE.
‣A definite hot ticket item for the eve, the Drums and Io Echo at the EchoPlex.
