Thee Oh Sees have their second album of 2011, “Carrion Crawler/The Dream,” en route on Nov. 15 [check out “Carrion Crawler” and “The Dream” on Pitchfork], and the San Francisco quintet plays tonight at the Ukrainian Culture Center.
‣ Also in town from the Bay Area, post-punk quartet the Soft Moon plays at Part Time Punks at the Echo. That’s the band’s video for “Total Decay,” above.
‣  Brandon Schott celebrates the release of his new album “13 Satellites” at the Hotel Cafe, where Tyrone Wells and Branches also perform.
‣ And Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (joined by Jakob Dylan and Lissie) play a sold-out show for KCSN-FM subscribers at Cal State Northridge’s Plaza Del Sol Performance Hall.
