[Happy Friday. I’ll post a radio preview in a bit, but I just want to mention here that the Buzz Bands LA show Moheak Radio moves to a new timeslot starting this week – 11 a.m. on Fridays. Talk to you later this morning …]

Your fantastic Friday:

‣ Portland’s Unknown Mortal Orchestra plays the Echo (that’s their video for “Ffunny Ffriends,” above), with Gauntlet Hair and So Many Wizards supporting.
Post Present Medium, the imprint started by No Age drummer Dean Spunt, celebrates 10 years with a series of shows this weekend at the Smell; tonight’s lineup features Abe Vigoda, High Places, Stephen/Steven, C.R.A.S.H., White Dog and Earn.
‣ New York duo Phantogram headlines the Music Box behind their new release “Nightlife,” and Reptar opens.
‣ It’s Italian rockers Afterhours (with Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan) at the Echoplex.
‣ South African rockers the Parlotones visit the Roxy on a bill that features the Tender Box and Scattered Trees.
‣ And Brooklyn octet Rubblebucket brings its exuberant dance to the Bootleg Theater, teaming up with Superhumanoids. Check out Rubblebucket’s track “Worker,” here:
