Video: The Jezabels, ‘Trycolour’

With artists such as Guineafowl, Gotye and the Bleeding Knees Club recently coming through town, it’s been somewhat of an Australian invasion for L.A., but we don’t mind when rock bands like the Jezabels swing by again. Even after we caught the quartet at SXSW, songs such as “Mace Spray” and “Endless Summer” still have us hanging on to their stadium-filling sound that ricochets between rock, disco and pop. Recently signed to Mom + Pop, their debut full-length will finally be hitting all shores with “Prisoner” out on Nov. 8, and “Trycolour” is the latest sneak peek from the record. The tune itself is cryptic yet crisp, which makes shadows and splashing water appropriate in its dark Sam Kristofski-directed video.

I love this band. But is it just me or does this video kind of feel like it was made in the 80’s?
Coming soon to a club near me.. cool.
