‣ We can get these two guys out of the way quickly: Sting plays the Wiltern; Morrissey plays the Fox Theater on Pomona.
‣ Now for the fun (free) stuff: Vanaprasta puts an exclamation point on its residency at the Satellite, topping a lineup that includes Voxhaul Broadcast, Chasing Kings and Summer Darling. (Your friendly neighborhood Buzz Bands LA blogger will be DJing early.)
Hi Ho Silver Oh [pictured] brings its stand at the Silverlake Lounge to a close, supported by Wil Donegan & Charlene Yi, and Grandma Sparrow.
Hot As Sun and Cassettes Won’t Listen help the Chain Gang of 1974 wind up its residency at the Echo, where American Tomahawk also plays.
LA Font highlights the final night of Little Hurricane’s residency at the Bootleg, with the Driftwood Singers and Count Fleet also on board.
‣ And Milo Greene, on a break in their long tour with the Civil Wars, play It’s a School Night at Bardot. Incan Abraham and Masxs also join in.
