Rachel Yamagata headlines a sold-out Troubadour behind her first release in three years, “Chesapeake.” Mike Viola, who released his own new album “Electro de Perfecto” in September, opens. That’s Yamagata’s video for “Even If I Don’t,” above.
‣ Sting does a second night at the Wiltern.
Downtown/Union rocks the Echo behind its new EP “Deal Gone Wrong,” with Tumbleweed Wanderers opening.
‣ A couple of Tuesday night residencies end, each with good lineups: Races and Touché help Kiev close out its November stand at the Central SAPC in Santa Monica, and the Californian and Wires in the Walls provide the support for the Western States Motel at On the Rox.
