‣ Buzz Bands LA’s SecondTuesday songwriter night goes off at Lot 1 Cafe in Echo Park with a eclectic quartet of acts – the Quick Hellos, 7Horse, Frankel and Jack Burnside. Get all the details here.
‣ Jay-Z & Kanye West do another installment of the “Watch the Throne” tour at Staples Center.
‣ Class is in session at the Wiltern, where Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa, who collaborated on the soundtrack to the film “Mac & Devin Go To High School” (out today), hold forth.
‣ German electro duo Digitalism, who just released an EP titled “Circles” as a follow-up to their album “I Love You Dude,” plays the Music Box. That’s the video for “Circles,” above.
‣ Swedish pop duo Serenades play the Bootleg Theater with a couple of excellent local bands supporting, Races and NO.
‣ And Moheak, the Internet radio home to the Buzz Bands LA show and more, is presenting shows on the second Tuesday at the Viper Room, and tonight’s lineup features Stab City, Queen Kwong, Not in the Face, Hexham Heads and Rituals.
