With each passing season, the music of psych-rock quintet Seasons gets more transcendent. That they’re scarcely a blip on anyone’s radar outside the insular Los Angeles Eastside scene is a curiosity, if not a downright crime – their beautifully arranged, cinematic rock and its arching sense of yearning seem part of the fabric of the times. And there are bands with label deals and promotional teams who can’t touch Seasons. That said, here’s what Seasons are doing for us lately: They’re releasing a new EP, “Autumn,” which completes the cycle they started with “Summer,” “Spring” and “Winter.” Like two of other Seasons EPs, it was produced by Raymond Richards at his Red Rockets Glare studio. Included is the track “Monday Nights,” a paean to the free residencies at the Silver Lake/Echo Park venues. Seasons have their own, coming in January.
