[Before we join the SOPA blackout, and in consideration for the bands playing, here is a list of shows and recommendations for tonight:]

Wednesday’s shows:

‣ The new duo The donnie the amys (pictured) – the Donnie Stemp/Amy Wood collaboration we introduced you to in December – bring their wry indie-pop to the Satellite, supported by Night Rainbow and White Lights.
‣ The Beautiful View, Auditorium and College Kids team up at the Silverlake Lounge.
‣ Good local bill at the Echo, faturing Son Ark, Tommy Santee Claws, the Black Watch and Jon Wahl & the Amadans.
‣ Texas-based Sundress joins two L.A. acts, the Sister Ruby Band and Burroughs, at the Central SAPC in Santa Monica.
Riverside duo Summer Twins celebrate the release of their self-titled debut with a show at Harvard & Stone. Correction: This show is next Wednesday, the 25th. Apologies for the error.
