A deliriously busy Tuesday:
‣ Wilco plays to a sold-out Palladium behind last September’s release of the band’s eighth album, “The Whole Love.” White Denim opens.
‣ Few purveyors of guitar-driven pop and heavenly jangle are as adept at plastering smiles on the faces of fans as Tommy Keene. The veteran songwriter released a highly recommended career retrospective last year titles “You Hear Me,” then followed it up in September with one of the brightest albums of his career, “Behind the Parade.” He plays the Bootleg Bar tonight. That’s his video for “Deep Six Saturday,” above.
‣ Huge local bill at the Viper Room, where Light FM, Twilight Sleep, Auditorium and Bullet & Snowfox perform.
‣ Free residencies reign at the Central SAPC, where Touché will be joined by the Belle Brigade acoustic); at the Echo, where Olin & the Moon and Maxim Ludwig & the Santa Fe Seven continue their “Beer and Bingo” fun; and at Harvard & Stone, where Last American Buffalo rocks.
‣ And it’ll be a hearty party at Dim Mak Studios, where Skrillex does the first of six Los Angeles gigs this week.
