Vas Dafrans, Harriet, Rimpau and the Peach Kings play the Bootleg as part of a mini festival that will benefit the 20-year-old skateboarder/snowboarder Xander Mozejewski, who was recently in a motorcycle accident. The acoustic room will also feature the Weekend Pilots, Red Robot w/ Strings, Sophia Louise and Deux Sons. The festival will also be hosting an Art Bazaar. $2 for each room.
AWOLNATION headlines KROQ’s Big Game Party at Hard Rock Cafe after the Superbowl at 5 Towers Concert Venue on Universal CityWalk.
‣ The Troubadour hosts a night called “Where’s the Band?” featuring solo sets by Matt Pryor (Get Up Kids) [see our post from Wednesday], Chris Conley (Saves the Day), Dustin Kensrue (Thrice) and more.
‣ Part Time Punks parties late in to the night at the Echo where Indian Jewelry [pictured above] plays and Jewels of the Nile supports.
