‣ Rowdy garage rockers FIDLAR, who are preparing for their new “No Waves/No Ass 7-inch, headline the Echo tonight. [See their video “Oh” here.] Pangea, the Lovely Bad Things and Anus Kings also round out the boisterous lineup.
‣ Mad Planet brings their electro-rock over to the Central S.AP.C. where the Open Feel, the Lillies and Minor Me also play.
‣ Indie pop quartet Miniature Tigers headline the Troubadour in support of their recently released album “Mia Pharoah.” The Chain Gang of 1974, Geographer [That’s their new video for “Kites” above.] and Pretty & Nice support.
‣ The Bootleg offers a double dose of eccentric songbirds with a lineup including Jolie Holland and Emily Jane White.
‣ Canadian alt-country and Americana outfit The Sumner Brothers return to L.A. for a performance at the Echo Country Outpost, where local folk musicians Olentangy John, Leslie Stevens, Matt Taylor & His Laurels will join them.
