Did you set your clocks forward?

Taken By Trees, the indie-pop venture from ex-Concretes frontwoman Victoria Bergsman, recently signed with Secretly Canadian, and on the heels of her guest stint with Swedish dream-poppers Korallreven last week, the band plays its first L.A. gig in two years tonight at the Bootleg Theater. And Korallreven (Marcus Joons and Daniel Tjäder of the Radio Dept.) will be DJing.
‣ U.K. duo Slow Club brings its sublime indie-pop to the Echoplex behind last fall’s release of “Paradise,” th band’s second album. That’s the video for “If We’re Still Alive,” above. Signals and Bell Gardens open.
‣ With a flock of would-be next-big-things in the States from Australia to play South by Southwest, it’s time for the annual Aussie BBQ at the Echo. It starts at 1 p.m., and highlights (from those we’ve heard) include Chet Faker, Sparkadia and Teeth & Tongue.
‣ And Guns N’ Roses are back for another show, this at the Wiltern.
