Video: Electric Guest, ‘This Head I Hold’

No matter where you stand on Electric Guest’s Danger Mouse-stamped electro-soul – and we have some serious believability problems – the slick video for the catchy single “This Head I Hold” tests sensibilities. The collaboration of Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton, Electric Guest this week released its debut album “Mondo” via Downtown Records and Across the Universe. Director Keith Schofield (who’s worked with Charlotte Gainsbourg & Beck and Justice) follows Taccone as he flips out while waiting for an audition. Oh, the melodrama.
