Happy Sunday:
‣ West Hollywood gets dibs on the first L.A. street festival this summer. The Hudson Block Party returns with an impressive lineup featuring White Rabbits [that’s the video for “Temporary” above], LP, Saint Motel, Haim, Little Hurricane, the Neighbourhood and more. [Doors open at 11 a.m. – here are your set times.]
‣ Torches celebrate the release of their record, “Heads Full of Rust,” with a free show at the Satellite. The party also includes Manhattan Murder Mystery, Joey Siara (of Henry Clay People) and Tenlons Fort.
‣ Punk-rock quartet the Briggs, who’ve been laying low since 2008’s “Come All You Madmen,” are back with a new single, “Panic,” and they headline a comeback show at the House of Blues Anaheim, with the Dickies and the Untouchables also playing.
‣ Also, Angela McCluskey headlines the Hotel Cafe.
