We’re nearly halfway through 2012, and the stack of impressive new releases from Los Angeles bands is getting tall. On tonight’s L.A. Buzz Bands Show on KCSN (88.5 FM, streaming on the web at KCSN.org), I’ll preview four more of them. That means new music from Beachwood Sparks, White Arrows, the Henry Clay People and Of Verona. Tonight’s other selections will range from the folky (new flavors from Olentangy John and Xander Smith) to the poppy (electro-pop from DWNTWN and Wanderhouse). Tune in at 7 p.m. for an hour of great local music.

After the jump, the playlist:

White Arrows, “Get Gone”
Silversun Pickups, “The Pit”
The Henry Clay People, “Twenty-Five for the Rest of Our Lives”
Torches, “Heads Full of Rust”
