Marilyn Manson, the Offspring, Steve Aoki and Bad Religion head up Sunset Strip Music Festival lineup

As we reported last week and yesterday, Marilyn Manson, the Offspring, and Bad Religion top the lineup for the street festival portion of the Sunset Strip Music Festival, set for Saturday, Aug. 18, in West Hollywood. Steve Aoki, Black Label Society, De La Soul, Dead Sara, Das Racist and the Mowgli’s round out the initial batch of announced performers; lineups for club shows at the Roxy, House of Blues, Viper Room, Key Club and Whisky have yet to be announced. Admission to the street fest rises from last year’s price of $55 to $75 ($135 for VIP, $250 for a three-day pass); tickets are on sale here. More info here.
Update, 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, from the official press release: The Doors will be this year’s festival honorees, to be feted a a special VIP event. A portion of this year’s ticket proceeds will benefit the Impact Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center in Pasadena.
