Your Saturday itinerary is bursting:
‣ The bio tells me that Ian Astbury turned 50 last month – welcome to the club, pal. And the Cult seems to be rocking as hard as ever; the U.K. quartet headline the Palladium tonight behind their new album “Choice of Weapon,” supported by Against Me! and L.A.’s own the Icarus Line.
‣ North Carolina sextet Delta Rae bring their exuberant folk music to Old Town Pasadena for a free show at One Colorado as part of KCRW’s Summer Nights series (7:30 p.m.).
‣ Milo Greene, their debut album on the way July 17, play to a sold-out Troubadour, supported by Little Hurricane and Harriet.
‣ The Moon Block Party [see set times here] goes off starting this afternoon in the downtown Pomona arts district, with a lineup featuring Fool’s Gold, the Entrance Band, Crystal Antlers and many more.
