Oak & Gorski – the L.A. duo who weave cello, guitar and vocals into the cloth of memorable pop – headline July’s installment of BUZZBANDS.LA’s SecondTuesday songwriter night at Lot 1 Cafe.

Very special guests for the July 10 show are singer-guitarist Charlie Clark and folk-rock band Marius.

The Stornoway-born Clark, who played with the Scottish supergroup the Reindeer Section, is a transplant to L.A. who plays in the folk ensemble Sotto. Marius will be a long way from home on this night and deserve a special welcome. They hail from the Faroe Islands in the Norwegian Sea halfway between Norway and Iceland. They will be on their first U.S. tour.

Doors open at 9 p.m. A $5 donation, which goes to the artists, is requested. Lot 1 Cafe serves food, beer and wine.
