‣ The Greek Theatre embraces nostalgia along with the start of summer with radical rock group the B-52s and pop legends Squeeze.
Fool’s Gold continues the summer series in Pasadena with an outdoor show at Levitt Pavilion.
‣ It’s a stacked roster of pop at Universal City walk’s Gibson Amphitheatre with Foster the People, Mayer Hawthorne and the County and Kimbra.
The Soft Pack headlines the Bootleg with some new tunes (and a sax player). Abe Vigoda, Dunes and Blundertown DJs also join in the fun.
‣ Baltimore’s Lower Dens play an early 3:00 pm show at Origami Vinyl then head on over to the Troubadour where they’ll be supported by No Joy and Alan Resniick.
‣ The talented Jake Bellows (Neva Dinova) plays an intimate show at Lot 1 Cafe. Heather Porcaro, Mike Bloom and Alan Semerdjian round out the bill.
